We offer hand-dyed yarns and wool fabrics. The yarns are suitable for knitting, crocheting, crewel, needlepoint, punch-needle hooking or other needlework. Because they're dyed with natural dyes, they fit the needs of re-enactors or others seeking historical authenticity.
Un-dyed fiber is also available.
This is the yarn I dyed for Ann's version of one of the sweaters in the Swedish Sweaters book. It's a 2-ply Shetland - nice weight.
I have a nice stock of Henry's Attic yarns and dyestuffs. They're available at my teaching gigs or on request.
Woolrich wool fabric available for rug hooking or applique. Fat quarters hand dyed with natural dyes are on consignment at Liberty Cottage in Canandaigua or on request.
I've also dyed Persian yarns for needlepoint or embroidery - there is simply nothing better than the colors obtained from natural materials.
